Excited!

Hi everyone!

I have quite honestly been waiting for days for someone to post before I did, and now that somebody has, here I go...!

Well firstly, I moved to Cary, N.C from the suburbs of Chicago just a few weeks ago, so I'm still pretty new to the Triangle Area. But naturally I am just so excited to be a part of STC and have been sitting, in suspense, by my computer all day waiting to get the cast list and script (does anyone else do that too?)!

I'm not in any other shows right now, but I did audition for a few in the weeks that I've been here, and there's one musical that I still want to see although I may not have made it into the cast for it. Raleigh's "Theatre in the park" is putting on the musical Next to Normal during pretty much all of September and I'd love if someone would maybe go with me (since it probably wouldn't be a good idea to take my 8 year old sister). So does anyone want to go see it? Even though it's not for about two months...I have a tendency to feel the need to plan ahead.

Well for now, that's about all I have to say, but I can't wait to meet everyone and have a great month of July! See you guys next week! :-)

  1. Welcome to Raleigh! I have to say, you have much more forethought when you're somewhere new than I do. I love Theatre in the Park and I didn't know they were planning on putting on Next to Normal! Now I definately also have plans to go. How's Chicago? I've never been.

  2. Thanks for the welcome, and I'd love to have someone come with me to see the Theater in the Park show. Oh, Chicago's great! Winters are quite a pain though, especially recently. You meet a lot of very..out-there types of people in the city, but I gotta say, I love listening to the street players there. I actually played my guitar in a train station there once, and that was great! Broadway in Chicago's lovely too, and all their theaters are gorgeous.

  3. Next to Normal? I feel like I wanted to see that. It seemed like a good idea. I'll go, if you're up for it. ;D Hopefully, it doesn't conflict with my schedule, but it's not like I'm doing much besides Show Choir.
