I know one was "What is the difference between a tempest and the perfect storm?"
A tempest is specifically a violent windstorm, although it usually includes rain, hail, or snow.
I thought that a perfect storm referred to the specific type of Nor’easter that the book (and later movie [which you should see])
The Perfect Storm was based...turns out that I was wrong. It had been used for two hundred years before the books was written to describe any worst-case scenario.
